Hi, I'm Christine, a CAPPA certified Postpartum Doula, Labour Doula, and Childbirth Educator - as well as a former pediatric nurse and mother of four.

What a special time in your family life. Bringing home your new baby is a once in a lifetime experience! I want you to sink into the slow pace of the ‘babymoon’ and delight in your new baby. The first few weeks can be stressful as the sleep deprivation and uncertainty add up. This is why I love love love early postpartum support! I’ll help you to get sleep, rest, and self-care time. I’ll help you build your feeding and baby care skills. You’ll be confident and well rested! You’ll be free to enjoy those precious early days. :)
I am very skilled at breastfeeding support. We all need help with these new skills, especially in the first few days! And the very best time to build skills, and set you up for an easy breastfeeding journey, is in the first 3-5 days. I love to do a welcome home shift. I’ll help you with each feeding, making it efficient, building yours and baby’s skills, and then help you to rest in between feedings. It’s such a confidence builder when you realize that you and your baby already have the building blocks. Just a little guidance and support at those key moments can help your journey to be easy! And I love that so much - to make it easier so you can enjoy the journey the way you were meant to. There is no package obligation, but most people want me for several shifts in a row, as their skills grow. Soon you and baby will be sailing through your breastfeeding journey!

With love,

Christine

"...she came for an emergency session without any notice when we found out our baby was losing weight drastically. Christine raced to my house and coached me on breastfeeding and supplementing techniques that were vital to getting my breastfeeding journey off to the right track.

I feel so confident now, and it is all thanks to her help on that day and on the days that followed."
